A privately owned Pakistani Airline service "Serene Air" took off its first flight in January 2017. The headquarter of Serene Air is in Islamabad. The Airline service owned four aircraft Boeing 737-800s of which two are brand new and two of them are 2-5 years old used aircraft. In additionally, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority granted the license to Serene Air in March 2016, but the first flight takes off in January 2017. The inaugurated flight of Serene Air was departure from Islamabad to Karachi. In the beginning, Serene Air will offer its services at a domestic level and after the minimum of one year experience will apply for the international service as well. The COO further added; Serene Air would fly on these domestic routes Islamabad to Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar. Serene Air service becomes the fourth airline service of Pakistan, the other three are Pakistan International Airline, Air Blue and Shaheen Air and these are also offering their services domestically.
